Wonderful car very original I have owned many Austin saloons I know them well. This limousine has very low miles the front end has no play in any of the joints the steering is like new. The engine runs well starts immediately with the touch of the starter button in any weather California has shown it. Transmission shifts with ease into all gears first gear is not synchronized but can shift in to first at low speeds. 2nd through 4th all syncro. Drive shaft to the third member all solid. Suspension is very comfortable. These are very uncommon cars only 47 would be made a year most were saloons with only a couple of Limousines. These are hand made Coaches that took 3 months to build. The interior is due for a remake as the leather is dry. Very straight forward job as the interior parts are easily removed the old upholstery removed the new stapled on. I have owned the car for 6 years and enjoy it very time I drove it. I own far to many cars to manage now so need to thin out the pack.
